    When to Gentle Dental of Port St Lucie for chipped composite on my tooth. Waited 15 minutes in the waiting room which was not to bad. Moved me to the exam room and sat there for 30 minutes before the Dr. came in. Which she proceeded to turn the chair almost upside down to see my 4th tooth from the front.   • Very upset patient

    I am sick of Gentle Dental Haverford PA. It is true what other patients are saying - they are only after your money. The hygienists are disgusting and I have proof that they both make up stuff to get you to do more things so that the bill is high. Maybe they get commission. I am also upset at the fact that in another short space of time there is now a new dentist again!!!!!!     I came in @8:30 for my appointment and got checked out. They charged me 49 dollars and told me to come back at 3:00 to have a cap put on for $300 dollars. I came back @ 3:00 and now they tell me it will cost $800 dollars.   • Worst Pediatric Dentist Ever

    We recently had a dental procedure for our kid here. In a prior checkup with Dr.Karen Lam it was decided to go for GA for the dental procedure. After 2 hours of procedures, we came to know that along with the fillings, she has removed the front 2 teeth !!! This removal thing was never discussed & agreed upon.     I needed to see an Oral Surgeon, for an issue with my tongue, and called my insurance company to find a preferred provider. I was given the name of Dennis Johnson at Gentle Dental in Albany, Oregon. He is under contract to bill medical insurance.     While employed by Gentle Dental, I learned of a few disturbing facts about this company. This is the most greed money hungry company I have ever experienced. The Portland Downtown office Manager is the rudest. She explaining the job to me, it is the resposibility of everyone to bring in the money regardless.   • Time for Legal Action

    Since July 2012 I have attempted to resolve a financial issue with GD's billing office in California. Their monthly bill does not include a $862 I made and despite many attempts and one letter which included proof of payment their office never responds. I just keep getting the same bill each month.     The dentist...Dr. Rodriguez..was absolutely rude to me (a first time patient) because I had one cavity. She wrongly assumed I must never floss to have gotten one cavity in the last decade since I've been to a dentist.   • Overcharged and Overbilled for Services

    Gentle Dental ripped me off. They did not give me full credit for amounts that I paid. On two separate visits, I paid $50.00 each time. They only gave me credit for $42.00 because that was the total amount of the bill, each time resulting in a total overpayment of $16.00 to them. Then, one of the cleanings was paid in full by my insurance and they still charged me $50.00. The total of their bills was $463.00. Insurance paid $193.54 and I paid out of pocket $198.27.     Indio, CA Gentle Dental, dr. Yvette Janku was rough to the point of dislocating my jaw, causing months of excruciating pain and expense.     I went to Gentle Dental of Indio, CA for a chipped tooth. I got a cleaning, multiple x-rays, and two fillings, one for the chipped tooth. The same tooth chipped a crown. Dentist Yvette Janku was so rough and it took so long I ended up with a dislocated jaw.     After reading the reviews below I actually feel comforted to know that I'm not alone and that these awful things did not just happen to me. This office is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a medical or any other office.     My husband and I were recommended, by our insurance company to use the Gentle Dental Boynton Beach office. We presented our ins cards and explained that we were new to this medicare HMO & not sure of our coverage.     I have had the same issue many other reviewers have had. The up selling. They will not provide the 2 free cleanings that the insurance company allows for. According to them, everyone must have perio problems. I have spoken with Dr. Zeigler (the CEO) and he promised to work with me and now I can't contact him. His no. is (561)999-9650.     After speaking with the receptionist to set up my son's inital appointment I was thrilled to have found a dentist that would be good with my apprehensive son.     My wife and I had our teeth cleaned at the Gentle Dental location in Fremont, CA. The front office is a joke. They are pretty much clueless even in basic concepts like setting up appointments. But let's set that aside. Gentle Dental is a chain and uses the same unscrupulous marketing/up-sell practices that many other large corporations use.     About a month ago I was referred to Gentle Dental in Peabody because my husband had a broken tooth. I have decided to write this review because I called Gentle Dental in Peabody and was treated with so much compassion and concern that it is worth noting.     I have read other reviews of Gentle Deltle and find that they are doing the same to my wife and I. I selected them through my retirement medical options, mostly because they were least expensive. That is important to us because we are living on a very limited income. The first thing they did was to tell me it was necessary to go for a cleaning 3 times a year, rather than 2 normally allowed by the insurance plan.     Okay so my friend's mom and sister went to the dentist the other day because his little sister had to get a tooth pulled. The tooth wasn't loose. This is proof that big corporate dental groups aren't for me or anyone. I'm on to your game using your general dentiststo act as feeders to your specialists ... Where the money is. Your not going to change but you lost two potential customers ( my wife and I ) as we saw the same SOP in both our cases.

Thieves...They over charged me $4300 for services covered by my insurance. I showed them my coverage policy, yet tried to explain to me my HMO was a discount policy, a PPO and finally nothing. They were ordered to reimburse me but they did did. My insurance company however did. After being shown how they overcharged me $4300. Thieves!!!

I too will not be returning to Gentle Dental. I was told I needed 2 cavities filled. I had no pain and have only had 2 cavities in my 48 years so I went for a second opinion through another dental office and sure enough the dentist told me that I absolutely did NOT need any fillings done. Gentle Dental is a money grabbing scam!
